Senior Director, Business Operations

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Senior Director, Business Operations understands our internal business needs and system strategy.  This person will own the end-to-end tracking of the sales funnel, capturing operational metrics, and delivering insights to the business on how to improve the overall sales performance metrics. The Senior Director, Business Operations will develop positive, trusting, value-add relationships with all Business Units by creating and managing Project Plans for system enhancements, additions, and integrations within the data architecture within Opus Agency. 

YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent, 6  to 8 plus years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6+ years of demonstrated success and experience in sales operations, business systems, or similar role, preferably in software/technology.
  • 3-5 years managing sales operations with experience building and/or managing a team, creating reports, optimizing CRM systems and data, managing dashboards, and mentoring new sales team members.
  • 3-5 years managing Ad-Hoc Projects within the scope related to The Company’s technology stack.  (CRM, ERP, MAP, etc.)

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Owns the end-to-end tracking of the sales funnel, capturing operational metrics, and delivering insights to the business; defines and delivers techniques to improve funnel performance.
  • Oversees the CRM database and leverages data analytics to create reports that help stakeholders make the best, data-driven decisions.
  • Owns the CRM administration, data structure, and project prioritization.
  • Serves as a liaison between sales and marketing relative to MAP (Pardot) and database optimization.
  • Streamlines processes and evaluates new tools, enabling Account Management and Business Development team members to bolster sales productivity.
  • Acts as a technical Project Manager for the company to create, develop, and manage technical projects in conjunction with our IT department and corresponding Business Owners.
  • Leads onboarding and training processes for new Account Management team members, as well as creates and maintains documentation on sales processes, policies, and training materials.
  • Establishes and maintains good relations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Builds and standardizes business reporting for strategic analysis and internal business review.
  • Provides recommendations and takes actions based on strategic objectives, forecast, or performance metrics.
  • Effectively manages a high volume of work and consistently provides a high quality of work output.
  • Maintains the highest standard for data integrity within the CRM, Salesforce, platform

COMPETENCIES

  • Certified Salesforce Administrator preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills and deep understanding of the sales process
  • Track record in driving change, working cross-functionally, and removing hurdles in fast-growth organizations.
  • Previous deal desk and/or revenue recognition experience preferred.
  • Agile self-starter, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Ability to understand high-level strategies, translate them into system and process requirements, and ensure execution and business impact.
