MAS Content Producer

Department: MAS Event + Design LLC
Location: Brooklyn, NY

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Content Producer manages all content components of a project from start to finish. The Content Producer Drive process and timeline with internal and client teams for creative design, reviews, and approvals.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively participate in creative event ideation and continue look and feel of creative deck shared by creative/art directors;
  • Review creative layouts and provide constructive feedback to team
  • External Facing: Manage client comms, approvals and feedback and timeline with regard to content
  • Manage ROS elements and transitions that need to be included in script
  • Script management and version control
  • Responsible for the visual side by side of script and graphics tracker for each piece of content
  • Managing Shoot Day for expert eye, test shots and assessing feedback with editor to be sure what’s being captured is of the highest quality possible
    • Manage speaker presentability from eye line to lint rolling, ensuring makeup is approved, etc;
  • Create distribute and maintain the content management trix
  • Identify additional stock footage that may need to be included throughout the edit to be approved by Creative Director
  • Version Control
  • Quality Control over edit process
  • Works with CD to move client feedback into Vendor AI Spreadsheet and Vendor Deck for visual guideline for edit
  • Leads asset review with the client for approvals
  • Works in partnership with Post Production Manager and Vendor Edit House
  • Identifies and works with client to establish all needed copy
    • Titles
    • Lower Thirds
    • Credits
    • Chapter titles
    • Supporting text during keynote
    • Subtitles ( if applicable)
    • Data Visualization
  • Effectively manage a high volume of work and consistently provide a high quality of work output
  • Utilize creative problem solving all along the planning cycle, consistently looking for ways to deliver more effectively

YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • At least 8+ years of experience producing, which includes hands-on experience overseeing and also producing content for live events, film or tv production.
  • At least 8+ years of client-facing experience; ability to advise, consult, and resolve any conflict that may arise while still protecting the client relationship.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Possess expert judgement and ability to make sound decisions within gray areas.
  • Budget management experience with direct financial responsibility, ownership, and accountability to others.
  • Strong computer and technology skills, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Fluent knowledge of Adobe Premier, AfterEffects, Adobe Creative Suite, i.e. Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
  • Ability to take initiative to learn and produce high quality work
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously without a reduction in accuracy or quality of work product
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of employees, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders

Physical Requirements

Individuals will be required to sit for most of the day and will be required to stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting up to 20 lbs. as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. Individuals will be required to travel via airplane, train, taxi, car and/or other means of transportation as needed.

The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to areas where those areas require the use of personal protective equipment. For the most part ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
