MAS Jr Strategist - Temp to Hire

some of the world’s most influential brands to design, create, and manage their most important events and
experiential programs. We partner with our clients to build fully integrated, highly effective teams that create
remarkable experiences and activations around the world. Opus Agency is known for fostering the growth and development of professionals who have a passion for the event industry. You might make a great Junior Strategist at MAS. We’re looking for someone who has creative and
entrepreneurial drive, with an insatiable appetite for helping brands better connect with people.


  • RESEARCH background on our client brands, their products, target audiences, and the competitive landscape to discover insights that help inspire our strategic approach for projects. If you’re a naturally curious person that loves to learn, this should be fun.
  • WRITE briefs for both our clients and our creative team, distilling goals and objectives down to their core, capturing the essence of our client’s brands and products, and also inspiring creative ideation. These briefs kickoff our projects—so they’re super important.
  • IDEATE concepts in collaboration with our creative teams, helping bring strategic impact to all of our projects. You should bring ideas to the table that leverage cultural trends and new technologies that make our work not only relevant, but also create resonance beyond the experience itself.
  • DEVELOP presentation decks for pitches and proposals, providing support, research, and insights for overall project creative strategy. You should love translating strategy into a compelling story that drives creative approach and clearly, concisely helps it all make sense. If you can take a 50 page deck and sum it up in 5 slides, you got this.
  • OWN smaller client projects, developing them from initial briefing through creative concept and design, and all the way to the finish line to assure they meet the original strategic and creative intent. Here’s where you can show-off that entrepreneurial spirit.


  • 2 - 4 years experience working in strategy or creative in an agency environment preferred. You understand the lingo and the process of agency life.
  • Understanding of trends shaping consumer behavior, with a curiosity to explore ever-changing cultural and behavioral trends in both physical and digital spaces.
  • Great organizational and time-management skills. You can juggle multiple projects across shifting deadlines across different teams—and still deliver killer work.
  • Client-facing experience. You’re confident in presenting, pitching, explaining a process, instilling trust, and generally just being awesome.
  • Amazing written and verbal communication skills. You’re comfortable taking complex information and making it easy to understand - in a conversation, or written down.

Travel Requirements
Around 30% of the time, domestic
