Media Producer

The Media Producer will manage and own the media and assets on virtual, live and hybrid events.  The Media Producer will be responsible for budgeting, schedules, team management, client relations, vendor management and the day-to-day management of the project.




  • 3 – 5 years of experience managing media and video projects

  • Microsoft Office suite, Google Drive, AirTable, Quip, WorkDocs program experience

  • Ability to work independently, in a team, and as a report to a project lead

  • Successfully perform in a high stress, fast-paced environment

  • Accept changes with short notice and tolerate frequent interruptions

  • Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality

  • Thrive on collaboration with team members

  • Work independently and interdependently




  • Manage the approved budget, tracking all related financials to project

  • Set timelines and associated milestones for media projects, integrating with other service lines when required

  • Drive process and timeline with internal and client teams for media, reviews, and approvals

  • Establish good relations with vendors and work with vendors in securing needed materials on time, within budget and meeting requested specifications

  • Identify solutions and leverage technologies that will set our brand and program delivery apart from Opus competitors

  • Report weekly to project lead on all updates

  • Support internal and external meetings, take notes, set agendas

  • Go above and beyond to ensure client and company success

  • Effectively manage a high volume of work and consistently provide a high quality output

  • Utilize creative problem solving all along the planning cycle, consistently looking for ways to deliver more effectively

  • Manage approved scope of project and notify team of any scope changes

  • Location scouting, permitting, location contracts, location maps

  • Supporting Content and Media deliverables in managing all aspects of creative development, including timeline creation, implementation, hands-on day-to-day project management and reporting status to the leadership team

  • Communicate with Executive Producer when change orders are necessary

  • Communicate with client the status of media deliverables

  • Client asset tracking and management

  • Identify and track when a new resource is needed to support the deliverable. (Storyboard, Scriptwriting, GFX, Animations, Audio Design, Etc.)

  • Manage legal reviews as necessary

  • Manage Covid compliance with the Opus Covid Compliance Team as necessary

  • Support media budget reconciliation

  • Project wrap and archive media content
