Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Department: Admin - IT/IS
Location: Remote

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a highly skilled leader to oversee our technology strategy, implementation, and adoption for the company, working with a budget to make investments in support of the company’s strategy and vision. You should be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, a great business partner, and an expert in technology deployment. You will work directly under the CEO and will act as both a technology and business expert, making decisions that will impact the current and future operations of the company.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement a technology strategy that supports our business strategies and priorities. Partner with other business leaders to gain adoption and maximize the benefit of our key technology initiatives.
  • Ensure technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs.
  • Create and manage timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services.
  • Effectively manage direct reports, with oversight of platform and program management, engineering, security and data compliance, helpdesk/tech support, and all IT/IS operations.
  • Collaborate with other senior leaders across the company understand their priorities, to keep them informed of the status of IT initiatives and projects, performance against planned objectives, and future strategic directions and associated impact on expenses.
  • Evaluate external advancements in the IT industry to improve customer/user satisfaction, reduce operating expenses and maximize revenues.
  • Managing technology budgets and resources.
  • Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of team leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working in a operational technology leadership role
  • Advanced technology skillset and a demonstrated history with multiple technologies.
  • Exceptional team leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to lead a team through change management cycles
  • Ability to delegate efficiently.
  • Extensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future.
